This document will let you know exactly what your staff will see after you've upgraded.
If you don't know what Version of
SuperSalon you are on:
From iOffice - OFFICE -> Stores -> Version is the far right column
From Salon -
Just Press the F5 Key -> Version will be displayed below ID.
{Note: If your version shows something other than a number, just call and ask support}
Quick Overview:
The main thing your staff will notice is the change in colors. The Tabs are colored & the buttons change color when the mouse moves over them. The basic functions are almost the same. There are several additional Mini reports that print from the receipt printer.
This will detail the visual / operational changes:
Employee Clock In/Clock Out:
Employee Names are now buttons
Stylist can print their schedule (if there is one)
Otherwise exactly the same
Sales Screen:
Screen changes to light beige background
Screen resolution is changed to allow more info on the screen
Estimated Wait time (Lower left corner) is reworked & graphical
Tabs at the top and Buttons at the bottom change in appearance
Show Appointments Button is added
Redo Service Button is Removed
Paid Out is replaced with Open Till (Gives more options when pressed)
Today's Sales is replaced with More (Gives more options when pressed)
Customer Check In:
After pressing New Ticket
Customer look up happens as name/number is typed - no Search button
Buttons disappear from bottom of screen
Key Pad appears on right of screen for touch screens
Select customer exactly the same
Info at right of screen exactly the same
Continue Button moved - functions exactly the same
Next screen is more graphic - icons appear on buttons
Schedule Appointment button is gone
Same customer data - preselected services - stylist request
{Stylist Request only displays clocked-in stylists but allows search for others}
Optional ability to add Customer Description to ticket
Redo Service Button has been moved to this screen
Exactly same options exist - Waiting/Service/Check Out/Pre Paid
Buttons have graphics in addition to verbiage
Waiting / Service Screen:
Customer ticket is more graphic
Verbiage on ticket buttons replaced with icons
Green arrow to the right moves forward with the process all the way through
Green arrow to the left moves backward all the way back to Waiting
All else exactly the same
Moving into Service:
Ticket now floats across the screen
All options remain the same (printing work ticket for instance)
Moving into Check Out:
This screen is different in several ways
All the Action Buttons from several parts of the check out screen are now all together in the top of the left column {Except Remove & Pay Now}
Remove Last button now says Remove
To move customer back to Service - Click on Customer & Remove
Payment-> now says Pay Now
Often used services can still be added to the center column
Payment Screen:
Functionality is exactly the same with larger buttons
Payment amount is pre-populated
Change due customer is now in very large blue type
"Complete the Sale" can be automatically applied
Close Out:
Now shows Calculated Tips
Adds Tip Detail Report and Credit Detail Report
Otherwise this is essentially the same
